Install Porch And Crawl Space Barriers
The open area under your porch or deck offers a tempting home for possums. They can nest in this space while staying away from severe weather and predators. Crawl spaces can also provide the same comforts for these nocturnal animals. You can prevent them from nesting under your home in these areas by installing a metal exclusion barrier. These barriers look similar to chicken wire, but they have a more durable design that can withstand pushy possums. Install Motion Lights
Adding motion lights to your yard can be a great way to scare off possums that make their way into your yard at night.
